Types of Shots

Wide Shot (WS)
The wide shot establishes a location or a scene, and captures the entirety of the subject.



Medium Shot (MS)
The medium shot directs the viewer to one or two subjects, while still allowing background elements to be shown.



Close Up (CU)
The close up shot is used to show the detail of a subject, without revealing much about the rest of the scene.
